where objects rest

this project carves space for both people and their objects, where storage is not residual but essential. a central core anchors circulation and belonging, while nooks unfold for solitude or gathering. inspired by metabolist ideals, i built a parametric model to layout the units according to desired heights and calculating the resulting FAR ratios, unit counts, square footage, and amount of storage.
